Mini Pretzel Bites with Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup baking soda
  • 1/4 cup coarse sea salt
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey mustard

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add 3 cups flour, salt, and melted butter; mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes, adding remaining flour as needed.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Divide dough into 24 equal pieces; roll each into a 1-inch ball.
  7. Boil pretzel bites in water with baking soda for 30 seconds; remove and place on baking sheet.
  8. Brush with melted butter, sprinkle with sea salt and parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve warm with mustard dips.
