  • 4 slices dark rye or pumpernickel bread
  • 4 oz (115g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 oz (115g) smoked salmon, thinly sliced
  • 1 small fennel bulb, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp capers, drained
  • 1 tsp fresh dill, chopped
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden and crisp.
