Sourdough Bread Bowl Pizza

A rustic sourdough bread bowl filled with melted cheese, spinach, artichokes, and pepperoni.

Ingredients

  • 1 large sourdough bread bowl
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cooked spinach, drained
  • 1/2 cup artichoke hearts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Hollow out the center of the sourdough bread bowl, leaving a 1-inch thick wall.
  3. Brush the inside of the bread bowl with olive oil and rub with minced garlic.
  4. Mix mozzarella, parmesan, spinach, artichokes, oregano, and black pepper in a bowl.
  5. Fill the bread bowl with the cheese mixture, top with pepperoni slices.
  6. Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
